Choose one camera file, and the browser reads its metadata locally. When a known counter is available, you see its value and meaning. Camera, lens and shooting details appear only when the file contains them. There is no account, photo library or cloud fallback.
How we check readings
Reader rules follow documented manufacturer-specific fields in ExifTool. We compare public camera originals with a pinned ExifTool release and keep synthetic parser tests separate. A matching file reading is evidence for that file; it is not independent proof of shutter wear or metadata authenticity.
What this tool cannot tell you
- Remaining shutter life, overall health or resale value.
- Whether metadata has been altered or a shutter has been replaced.
- The complete lifetime history of photographs or video from one file.
- A missing number that was never recorded, or a model-specific layout this version does not implement.
